Amy and Janet

Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born 20th of August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, most well-known for her critically acclaimed performance of charming and naive characters. Adams was the daughter of an U.S. Army officer in Italy and then grew up within Castle Rock Colorado. At the end of the 1990s, she began professional dance and acting with Boulder's Dinner Theatre and Country Dinner Playhouse. After moving to Minnesota and appearing in an undocumentary-style film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) which focused on beauty contests. After her screen debut that was successful where she played an annoying but pleasant contestant, Janet relocating from Minnesota to Los Angeles where she began professional acting. From June 1951 to September of 1962, she got wed to the actor Tony Curtis. She is also the mother of Kelly Curtis & Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and began her career as a film actress during the latter half of 1940s. The actress portrayed Norma in various popular films through time, like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho in 1960, and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film that was released in the year 1954.
